Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, U.S. state privacy laws give you certain rights regarding the personal information that Megaficus Joint Stock Company (“Megaficus”) collects and processes. These laws include the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and similar laws enacted in other states.

We honor applicable privacy rights regardless of your location.

Rights you may exercise

• Right to know / access. You may request that we disclose the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources from which we collected it, the business purposes for which we collected it, and the specific pieces of personal information we hold.
• Right to delete. You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you. We will honor deletion requests unless an exception applies (for example, we may need to retain information to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or detect security incidents).
• Right to correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See our Do Not Sell or Share page for details.
• Right to data portability. Where applicable, you may request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. You will not receive a different level of service or pricing as a result of making a request.

How to submit a request

To exercise any of the rights described above, you may contact us by:

Please include your full name and the username associated with your account so we can locate your information and verify your identity. We may need to confirm your identity before processing your request, using information we already have on file.

Verification

To protect your privacy, we must verify that you are the person whose information is the subject of the request before we can process it. We will typically verify your identity by matching the information you provide in the request with information we already maintain. We will not collect new personal information from you for the sole purpose of verifying your identity.

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof that you authorized the agent to act on your behalf, in addition to verifying your own identity.

Response timeline

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within ten (10) business days and will provide a substantive response within forty-five (45) calendar days of receiving your verifiable request. If we need additional time (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you in writing with an explanation. If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will explain the reasons and inform you of your right to appeal.

Appeal process

If we deny your privacy rights request and you disagree with our decision, you have the right to appeal. To appeal, send an email to info@megaficus.com with “Data Rights Appeal” in the subject line. Include a copy of or reference to the original request and the reason you believe the denial was incorrect.

We will respond to your appeal within the timeline required by the applicable state law (typically 45–60 days). If we deny the appeal, we will provide you with information on how to contact your state’s attorney general or applicable regulatory authority if you wish to file a complaint.
